J. STEPHEN ALEXANDER has more than 27 years of experience and is the Founder and Managing Partner of the firm.  He is a graduate of University of Florida Law School and was admitted to the bar in 1979. 

Mr. Alexander has spent numerous years in private practice from 1989-1992 and again from 1997- the present.  From 1979-1989, Mr. Alexander was the Assistant State Attorney in the Saint Johns County State County Attorney Office where he prosecuted murder, sexual battery and robbery cases, and for several years served as the Head of the St. Johns County State County Attorney Office supervising several attorneys and staff. 

In 1993, Mr. Alexander was elected as the State Attorney of the Seventh Circuit of Florida serving four counties (Volusio, Floshen, Pontan and St. Johns); a position he held for four years before deciding to reenter private practice.  His tenacity and passion for justice was the foundation of his remarkable career as the State Attorney.  As a prosecuting attorney he tried over twenty (20) first degree murder cases, all which resulted in convictions of the defendants.
